BACK TO SCHOOL KIDS CLINIC ANOTHER GREAT SUCCESS!!
Our Going Back to School Clinic held on August 21 was another clinic success. Parents brought their kids to prepare for going back to school and the upcoming Fall Sports Season. Kids suffering from flat feet, toe-tripping, walking challenges and other common childhood foot ailments were examined and given treatment. Many parents realized they don’t have to wait for their kids to ‘outgrow’ their foot challenges.
Stride will schedule another clinic in a few months. If you want to receive an invitation, be sure to let us know you want us to place you on our email list. And tell your friends who are parents.

KIDS CLINIC A GREAT SUCCESS!!
June 19th's Kids Clinic was an overwhelming success! Throughout the day a steady stream of parents brought their kids to Stride for a free foot exam. Everyone received personal and professional treatment by the Stride staff. Custom and Prefabricated Orthotics were dispensed based on individual foot needs. This was our first Kids Clinic, and showed that many parents realize kids don't have to wait to outgrow common foot conditions found in kids …flat feet, in-toeing, coordination and balance challenges.
Based on the great reception by parents, we will be scheduling another Kids Clinic in the Fall. Let us know if you want to receive an invitation. And pass the word to other parents who might be interested.

Webster-Smith Awards Roberta Nole "Entrepreneur of the Year"

Southbury, CT February 15, 2011 We are proud to announce that Roberta Nole, Founder and Owner of Stride Inc., and Nolaro24, LLC won the Harold Webster Smith Entrepreneur of the Year Award given by the Waterbury Chamber of Commerce to the outstanding candidate who embodies the spirit of the small business owner. The Harold Webster Smith Awards were established by the Chamber's Small Business Council to recognize companies which have shown achievement and excellence in small business. The Chamber hosts this program to honor the legacy of Harold Webster Smith, founder of Webster Bank, who supported, and helped nurture, small business development within the Greater Waterbury Region. Ms. Nole owns and operates a custom orthotics lab and a pre-fabricated custom-to-foot-type orthotic business in the greater Waturbury area, and donates her time as well as resources to many local charities and groups. She regularly lectures around the country and internationally on biomechanics of the feet, and teaches courses here and abroad on her patented 24 foot-typing method to identify foot-types based on pathology.
